Taiseikaku’s Mango Milk Shaved Ice

If you want to enjoy some mango sweets in Shinsaibashi, I recommend you try the Mango Milk Shaved Ice of the Chinese restaurant, “Taiseikaku” !

Have you ever found yourself craving some mango sweets in Shinsaibashi, Osaka?
If so, I recommend you try the Mango Milk Shaved Ice of the Chinese restaurant, “Taiseikaku” .

You can reach the store by walking a short distance to the east from the intersection where you can find the Daimaru Shinsaibashi Store on the Shinsaibashi Shopping Street.

There is a banner that says “Ice” at the shop front…

It doesn’t look like your typical Chinese restaurant.

This day, I went there for lunch, but I found out that you could enjoy some shaved ice during lunch time…
I couldn’t quite believe it, so I went for it.

The moment I sat down at the table, what caught my eye was the shaved ice menu.
・Black Tapioca Coconut (¥600)
・Matcha Milk (¥600)
・Mango Milk (¥750)

First, I had lunch.

After I satisfied myself with lunch, it’s time for some shaved ice.
From the three choices, I ordered the Mango Milk Shaved Ice.

Scattered on top of mango-colored shaved ice were small mango slices.
For mango-lovers, this must look irresistible.
Time to eat!

The fresh mangoes were very sweet.
They matched perfectly with the soft, fluffy ice.

Adding some mango syrup to it makes it taste even richer. This is an irresistible and addicting taste for people who like mangoes…

Eating more of it, the milk ice, banana, and corn flakes take the stage.
The sweetness of the milk and bananas and the added texture of the corn flakes as an accent make it even more wonderful. Once you get to the second half of it, you feel more like you’re eating a parfait rather than shaved ice.
This was a lavish shaved ice where you could enjoy not only some fresh mangoes, but also a parfait flavor to it.
That was very delicious. I had a wonderful time!

In the recent years, there has been a so-called shaved ice boom. This is due to various restaurants and food shops other than sweet shops, like ramen shops and Chinese restaurants, serving high-quality shaved ice as summer desserts. “Taiseikaku”, which I introduced here, is one of such restaurants.
・To people who love shaved ice
・To people who love mango sweets
・To people who are looking for a shop where they can enjoy some delicious mango shaved ice in Shinsaibashi
I recommend you try the famous Chinese restaurant, “Taiseikaku”.
