Have your fill of limited edition “mille-feuille” pastries at Sweets and Coffee en-nui!

If you are looking for a café in the Temmabashi area where you can dine-in and get some delicious sweets, I recommend Sweets and Coffee en-nui!

The Temmabashi area of Osaka joins the area in having a wealth of delicious sweet shops.
In this fascinating place, you can now get genuine sweets to eat-in at this newly opened patisserie.

Sweets and Coffee en-nui opened in September of 2015. It is located on the first floor of the building on Tosabori Street that connects Temmabashi station to Kitahama station.

The handwritten storefront sign lists the seasonal sweets that are on offer.

The interior is quite deep, and it is overflowing with a sense of cleanliness with a white design motif.
Baked goods are offered on the left. The fresh cake showcase is facing you when you enter the store, and the eat-in corner is on the right side.

The showcase is filled with delicious looking things!

The number one recommendation: mille-feuille (480 yen)

From the standard café fare such as cream puffs, Mont Blancs, cheesecakes, tarts and tiramisus to the limited edition seasonal products, there is a huge line-up of options which was a pleasant surprise.

I was able to try the three sweets (below) in the amazing eat-in space.

Sweet potato tart (400 yen)

Pumpkin tart (400 yen)

Lastly, I tried the café’s famous mille-feuille. (480 yen)

The interior design was very inspiring.

The combination of the ambrosial tart and the melt-in-your-mouth pumpkin cream was unmatched.

The sweet and flaky sweet potato based tart left me thinking about getting seconds.

At last, the flagship mille-feuille.

The fragrant and flaky texture and the thick, bold custard cream are a match made in heaven.
The fact that you can hold it in your hand to eat it is also great.
Everything was delicious. Thanks for the amazing food!

I only ordered sweets this time around, but another amazing feature of this café is that they offer drinks as well.

The “Special cake and drink set (900 yen)” which comes with your choice of cake and drink as well as the baked treat of the day, also looked great.

I want to try a few more sweets next time.
