Ricotta Cheese Pancakes from Micasadeco&Cafe
If you’re thinking “I want to try fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth souffle pancakes!”, then I recommend the ricotta cheese pancakes (¥1,200) from Micasadeco&Cafe in Namba.
The cafe is on the west side of Minatomachi River Place, a building that’s famous for its hexagonal shape.
The interior space has a modern design that gives you the illusion that you’ve walked into a cafe in another country.
There are no counter seats, but only table seats available. Many couples and pairs of ladies came to visit the shop.
My target this time is the souffle pancake.
I ordered the classic ricotta cheese pancakes (¥1,200).
For my drink, I ordered the fig smoothie (¥700).
The syrup is brought out first.
The ricotta cheese pancakes take a little while to come out since they have to whip up a meringue and cook it.
A wait of 25 minutes. Then out comes the ricotta cheese pancakes!
The pancakes are large, oval-like and pretty thick.
I pour on the maple syrup.
Here’s the first big bite!
The outside is soft, and the inside has a texture that’s kind of like a half-baked sponge cake.
I was impressed by the milky flavor.
If you top it with the thick cream they give you it really brings out the batter’s great flavor.
It’s sooo gooooodddd!!!!!!
I recommend eating with plenty of cream and syrup on top.
I had heard a few rumors about it before, but these pancakes with their melt-in-your-mouth goodness are so amazing and really go well with the syrup and cream.
This was so delicious. What a treat!
– For those who love pancakes
– For those looking for pancakes that have both unique looks and original flavor
– For those looking for a cafe where you can enjoy fluffy, soft pancakes
If you’re any of the above, I recommend Micasadeco&Cafe.
