“Cafe&Meal MUJI” in Grand Front Osaka. Delicious cream cheese pudding

Moved by a mixture of cheesecake and pudding!

01

I visited Cafe&Meal MUJI, run by MUJI in Grand Front Osaka.

02

I went for the selection of lunches, all prepared with carefully selected ingredients, but had a pleasant surprise when I saw the café’s carefully stocked desserts corner!
I quickly decided to follow lunch with something sweet…

03

How was I supposed to resist after peering into the case and seeing a parade of desserts like this? *laughs*
There were so many delicious-looking choices, though.
After careful consideration, I opted for the cream cheese pudding (380 yen), which mixed the best of a pudding and a cheesecake in one delicious dessert.

04

A pudding with complementary whipped cream?!
I was thoroughly pleased at how much cream came with my order.

05

Taking a first spoonful, the pudding’s soft texture was something between that of a pudding and cream cheese.
The two flavors of cream cheese and custard pudding remained separate and distinctly palatable.

06

The addition of the whipped cream added a certain milkiness to the mixture, and the harmony between the three flavors made for a rich taste which remained light despite its body.
It was a delicious dessert which made me realize the simple joys of having a cheesecake and a pudding all rolled into one.

07

Grand Front Osaka’s Cafe&Meal MUJI is a café which offers a pleasant, open layout in addition to its splendid food.
Prices are very reasonable, too, making it an ideal choice for lunch, dinner, or any time you find yourself with a sweet tooth.
