With this information, you too will become a sushi connoisseur! The ideal order to eat sushi
Premise: There is no fixed order for eating sushi.
As a premise, there is no fixed order that one must follow when eating sushi.
You can eat the pieces that you like in whichever order you prefer, and there is nothing wrong about it.
There is an ideal order to eat sushi
However, there is an eating order which is considered to be ideal.
You cannot go wrong as long as you remember these basics: “start with lightly tasted ingredients, such as white fish; then move to on to pieces with a higher fat content, such as red fleshed fish; and end with rolled sushi.”
Here is the actual experience
We began with sea bream, which is white fleshed fish.
And then had some tuna, the representative of red fleshed fish!
After eating richly-flavored pieces, we drank some tea to reset the taste in our mouths.
Next, we went for some silver-skinned fish: horse mackerel.
“Rolled omelette” is very simple, but it is the kind of topping that clearly shows the skills of the chef in every restaurant.
We finished it off with some rolled sushi.
How was this?
As we said in the beginning, there is no fixed order to eat sushi.
Since this is a special meal, you should enjoy it in whichever way you prefer.
But we would be glad if this information turns out to be useful to you as a reference if you are ever at a loss regarding what to order.
