I got a delicious Mont Blanc at “FOUNDRY”, in Kintetsu Department Store Main Store Abeno Harukas!

If you love Mont Blanc, I recommend the new chestnut Mont Blanc from “FOUNDRY”, in Abeno Harukas!

If you are looking for a delicious Mont Blanc in the Tennoji area, I recommend “FOUNDRY”’s new chestnut Mont Blanc.

The shop is located in the sweets corner of the basement of Kintetsu Department Store Main Store Abeno Harukas.

The show case of FOUNDRY offers a display full of rather big and lovely looking sweets.

Among all of these lovely sweets, their season-limited new chestnut Mont Blanc was the one that clutched my heart. (756 yen, tax included.)

This Mont Blanc has a somewhat innovative look, since the flat marron cream is luxuriously dished up around and on top of it.

I tried the marron cream first.
The rich and full flavor of new chestnuts spreads out of the thick texture of the cream.
The taste of liquor is just right too, leaving an elegant aftertaste.

Under the Mont Blanc cream, you will find a generous amount of whipped cream, an aromatic biscuit similar to dacquoise, and marron cream. A generous amount of candied chestnuts is also sandwiched in the mix.
The lightly taste of the whipped cream matches the rich flavor of the chestnuts exquisitely.
The combination of the aromatic biscuit, fragrant of almonds, and the chestnuts makes this an extremely luxurious dessert for chestnut lovers.
This is such a big Mont Blanc, but it is so yummy that its size did not prevent me from eating it all in one sitting.

It was really delicious. Thank you!

I highly recommend Abeno Harukas FOUNDRY to:
– People who love sweets with chestnuts
– People who would like to enjoy cakes made with seasonal fruits
– People who are looking for tasty sweets in Abeno Harukas
