Kitashinchi ”Naniwa Robata itadakitai”

Good food and outstanding entertainment value will leave you totally satisfied!

I had dinner at ”Naniwa Robata itadakitai”, a restaurant serving Japanese food in Kitashinchi.

They are known for their super great value lunches that seem to be priced with no regard for profit, and their serious dishes in the evening that are combined with an entertainment atmosphere. I love this place!
This time I tried many dishes from the à la carte menu!

“Specialty! Sashimi Staircase Combination” (1280yen per person, five-person serving in photo)
This is their biggest specialty, so be sure to get it. (^^
The seven kinds of sashimi on a custom spiral staircase display are all extravagant items!

From lower left: striped jack from Ehime, splendid alfonsino from Kochi, natural flounder from Wakayama, winter amberjack from Kagoshima, chutoro and akami tuna from Amami Oshima, red seabream from Wakayama, and Mr. Tsumura’s Kawachi duck.

All this gorgeousness got me really excited!

The à la carte menu has a shocking variety of items!
For this visit we went as a group of five people and split the bill, and it came to about ¥6000 per person.
If you’re going for the first time, I recommend the “Itadakitai Course” (4000yen for nine items) with “All You Can Drink” (1500yen).(^^

This place is packed and bustling tonight as well. If you’re going, be sure you make a reservation!
