wad omotenashi cafe

This is a valuable store where you can eat "kaki-goori" (shaved ice) all year round.

“wad omotenashi cafe” , a hideaway-like café in Shinmachi, is especially particular when it comes to their ingredients and bowls.
This is a valuable café where you can eat shaved ice all year round, regardless of the season.

Their “koori-mori,” which is limited to 15 servings a day, is a pure white shaved ice that reminds one of a silver world covered in snow.
This is a shaved ice for grown ups in which every detail has been paid special attention, from the Uji green tea syrup, to the size of the ice, and the container – it is much more delicious than your regular shaved ice!
I also had their “aracha” (tea made with dried tea leaves that have not been blended or processed,) which they have shipped directly from a tea plantation in Wazuka, Kyoto.

“Koori-mori” 700 yen (Uji green tea, honey, brown sugar syrup, Hoji-cha)
*Includes a complimentary cup of their daily tea
Extra toppings at 50 yen each (milk, boiled azuki beans)
