“Grill Taihei”: A Well-Established Western Restaurant with Over 70 Years of History

This well-known eatery is a Western restaurant representative of Osaka!

“Grill Taihei” was founded more than 70 years ago, and the longtime fixture blends naturally into the townscape of the surrounding Imazato-Shinchi area.
The shop is run by a skillful husband-and-wife pair of proprietors, whose warm hospitality makes a great impression *\(^o^)/*

■ Hamburg steak: ¥1000
Juices flow out of this plump, round, juicily stewed Hamburg steak the moment you stick your knife in ♪
It’s been carefully cooked in a sauce made of a stock of only vegetables, giving it a light texture. It’s delicious, and vanishes quickly off the plate!

■ Fried shrimp: ¥1600
This is a revelation! Maybe the biggest shrimp I’ve ever eaten, and yet a tender texture ☆
It comes with a homemade sauce, not the regular tartar ♪

■ Deluxe tonkatsu: ¥1500
A thick cut of brand-name Matsusaka pork, fried slowly and deliberately.
The fat meat is soft and oh-so-sweet *\(^o^)/*
Hats off to this one – it’s delicious and doesn’t feel too bulky!
