A Curry 100 Hours in the Making

I went to “cafe Basara Kaerudo”, a popular curry restaurant two minutes away from the Nishiōhashi subway station♪
They’re open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and as a café!

Besides curry, they also offer more than 100 other items, like rice omelets, sandwiches, and sweets.
Their famous “Basara Curry” takes 100 hours to cook, and is really amazing!
The first bite is sweet, but bit by bit the spiciness comes in.
It’s really nice that they have so many available toppings♪

Every month, you can enjoy the gentle, handmade flavors of the “Seasonal Ingredients Countryside Meal”.
※Service is only available until 5 PM
Aside from sandwiches, all dishes come with free coffee or tea

■Fried Vegetable Curry: ¥950

■Katsu Curry Sandwich (with soup): ¥750

■Fried Banana Oriental Parfait: ¥800
A parfait that uses plenty of Japanese ingredients to give it some nostalgic flavors.
You get a scoop each of kuromitsu kinako, adzuki, and vanilla.
Add some kuromitsu to make it even tastier♪
