Kaneyo Shokudo

A traditional canteen inside the market.

I had the opportunity to go to Osaka Municipal Wholesale Market Honjo, and I ate lunch inside the market!

Osaka Municipal Wholesale Market Honjo plays a significant role in the distribution of food items to the Kinki area of Japan. Food items such as seafood, vegetables, fruits, dried produce, picked goods, etc are handled here.

This visit I went to Kaneyo Shokudo, a traditional canteen. Not only people who work at the market use this canteen, regular visitors are also very common. Portions are generous, making it very good value for money.
