Nishi Shinsaibashi “Menya Gaten”

High quality, limited Japanese soy sauce ramen, with excellent cost performance!

For today’s lunch, I went to the ramen shop “Menya Gaten” in Nishi Shinsaibashi.
This ramen shop offers “beef curry ramen”, so it was this that I went to eat, but when I saw “Limited”, after some hesitation, I decided to go with that. (^^

“Japanese soy sauce ramen” (¥680)
After seeing the menu, I knew this was the one I wanted to try. (^^
I couldn’t resist the fragrant soy sauce smell!

There’s thickly cut onion in the soup.
Let’s try this onion and soup…

Sooooo tasty!
The thick ramen flavour ties well with the soy sauce taste, and the nice texture of the onion is a great highlight!
This tastes really high quality!

Slightly thick, flat noodles…

Sooooo tasty!
The tender and chewy noodles work well with the soup, it’s delicious!

“Tamagohan (raw egg mixed with white rice)” (+ ¥90)
During lunchtime on weekdays, you can get this tamagohan for an extra ¥90!

After stirring well and eating…

Goes great with nori (seaweed) and bonito flakes!

“Beef curry ramen” and “MAZE soba” are the main offerings, and the prices are very reasonable.
There is an even better value set available at lunchtime, giving excellent cost performance!
I want to try all of the ramen! (^^
