Nishi Shinsaibashi Steak House “Meat INN”
For today’s lunch, I went to the “Meat INN” steak house in Nishi Shinsaibashi.
Several kinds of steak courses and hamburger steak courses are available at lunch time, with each being cooked on the teppan plate behind the counter!
“Munakata Beef Sirloin Steak Course” (¥1,680 before tax)
Japanese Munakata Beef is famous for being an extremely healthy, low fat red meat!
The sirloin steak is the main offering, but there are 8 course items in total which can all be enjoyed at this price. This is astonishingly good value!
The counter seats on the first floor are in a very stylish space, and the chef happily prepares your food right in front of your eyes.
First, I was served grilled vegetables.
Bamboo shoots, okra and potatoes accompanied with demi-glace sauce and radish, konjac with Dengaku Miso, and tofu with tartar sauce!
The exquisite taste of each item cooked is drawn out fantastically well.
The meat is grilled with finesse, and flames rise softly with flambe.
Completed by placing the steak on bread grilled in butter!
You can use whichever of the 4 you like: steak sauce, vinegar, soy sauce or salt.
Very juicy and the juice is deliciously sweet.
I think this is perfect quality for eating at this price at lunchtime!
Eating the edge of the steak together with the bread…
The savory butter flavoured bread and sweet meat is an exquisite match!
The course comes with fresh salad with plum pulp dressing, consomme soup and rice. I am full!
Desert comes after the meal, and you are guided to a table on the second floor to have your desert.
You can relax and enjoy strawberry yoghurt, tiramisu ice cream and hot coffee. Very satisfying!
It is really great value to be able to get such a varied course for lunch at such a reasonable price!
The restaurant is located in a convenient location, close to America Mura and close to Shinsaibashi Station!
The same lunch is offered even on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays, so please go and enjoy a petit luxury lunch on your day off!
There is not a very large number of seats, so I recommend making a reservation before you go.
