Kitashinchi “quatre lapin”

A very popular restaurant where you can have an ample steak lunch for a very reasonable price!

For today’s lunch, I went to “quatre lapin”, a French restaurant in Kitashinchi.
Even among the lunches of Kitashinchi, its cost-performance is top-class.

The lunch menu has only one item, the “steak lunch”! It’s basically a 180g slice of steak with rice and soup for 700 yen, and you can order half a steak (90g) additionally up to 3 times for 200 yen each!
I ordered 1 and a half (270g), but I was blown away by the crazy amount!
All this for 900 yen has got to be a bargain price!
There were several types of sauces from which you could choose up to two, so I chose ponzu and miso sauce!

It’s such a hefty meal that you almost wonder if it’s all right to eat this much meat at lunch!
The meat is only browned on the surface, and the inside is rare!

Here is the meat with miso sauce…

(゚Д゚)Yummy!(゚Д゚)Yummy!!

Soooooo delicious!!
The moderately soft meat tastes completely delicious and the rich and powerful miso sauce wet your appetite like crazy!
It’s Australian beef, but I think the quality is more than enough for the price (^^

It tastes very fresh!

The thick soup has a mild flavor and is a very good side dish for the hefty meat dish (^^

The shop has only 9 seats at the counter with a seat turnover of 3 turns, but the seats fill up instantly!
Customers line up in front of the shop from the morning, and by the time the shopkeeper comes at around 10:40, there is a long line in front of the shop!
The shop is located at the back of the 5th floor of the building, and even though the shop doesn’t have a sign outside the building, they still have this many customers! It’s really amazing!
The system works like this: The shopkeeper tells each person in turn when to come to the shop, they disperse once, and they go to the shop again at the said time.
Fortunately, I was able to get in the first round so I got in the shop at 11:45 (^^
This lunch with such a wonderful cost-performance is worth lining up at least once!
