Messe Kuma Umeda Branch

Stock up on carbohydrates with this set comprised of fluffy okonomiyaki, yakisoba, and curry!

For lunch we went to the Umeda branch of okonomiyaki restaurant “Messe Kuma” on Umesan street in Umeda.
It’s a popular store and there’s always a long line for lunch, so I was starving. Determined to ingest as many carbohydrates as possible, I ordered the NegiYakisoba set for \980 with the Curry Set for \150.
I received a thick okonomiyaki generously topped with onion, fried egg, and beef tendon konnyaku. This was served together with yakisoba, curry rice, and miso soup. The volume was incredible!

They have many special sets!
At 1pm the line had died down, but the shop was full and the customers just kept on coming in!
The waitress was kind and thoughtful, and the environment was cozy!
If you want a casual place to enjoy okonomiyaki in Umeda then this is the place for you!
