Nishinakajima “Yakiniku Okaya”

A yakiniku restaurant that offers hearty and reasonably priced meat dishes for lunch!

For today’s lunch I went to “Yakiniku Okaya” in Nishinakajima, Yodogawa-ku.
It’s a new restaurant that just opened, but it is reputed to have bargain meat dishes for lunch!
There were many appealing dishes on the lunch menu, but since this was my first time, I had the “Yakiniku Set Meal (large)” (880 yen).
There are “large”, “medium”, and “small” sizes for the yakiniku set meal, and today I ordered the “large” without thinking, but I was surprised when I saw it!
It was a tremendous amount with two sunny side up eggs on tons of meat!

The meat is well-coated in sauce…

Sooooo good!!

With the rice…

Soooo yummy!

You can help yourself to free seconds on rice, miso soup and pickles.
I rarely have seconds on rice, but there were so much meat that I ate all the rice before I knew it, so I had seconds and my stomach was about to burst(^^;

They also offer iced coffee for an affordable 100 yen during lunch time!

Apparently you can have meat of A4 rank and up at a reasonable price in the evening!

This restaurant is in a very convenient place close to Subway Nishinakajima-Minamigata Station and Hankyu Minamikata Station.
The restaurant is very spacious with many seats at tables and Japanese-style tatami seats, where you can even have large banquets!
There were only a few customers here and there when I entered the restaurant, but they came flooding in past noon!
These hearty and reasonably meat dishes for lunch are greatly favored by salaried workers in the neighborhood.
Next I’d like to go in the evening!
