Seasonal dishes at “Mitsuoki” in Shin-Umeda Shokudogai
I had dinner at “Mitsuoki”, an izakaya in Shin-Umeda Shokudogai that serves seasonal dishes.
While Shin-Umeda Shokudogai has many izakaya and bars where one drinks while standing, this izakaya is very popular, and it is always completely full of customers!
“Assortment of four types of simmered dishes” (¥980)
I really love such an assortment (^^
The dishes were so well done in the refined broth, it made me unintentionally groan with pleasure (^^
A draft beer to go with my appetizer
“Firefly squid marinated in soy sauce” (¥780)
This is an irresistible flavor for someone who likes to drink!
“Stamina grilled octopus” (¥980)
The thick octopus is tender, and the soy sauce-based stamina sauce is superb!
“Stewed beef tendons and konjac” (¥680)
The very tender meat covered in broth is insanely good!
Plenty of delightful dishes are on the menu that go well with alcohol.
While it was late on that day that I went, the place was completely packed!
Shin-Umeda Shokudogai is very conveniently located by each of the various railway lines at Umeda Station, and it is great that one can keep drinking until right before the very last train! I think I will go again!
