“Sanku” in Fukushima

Serving "udon" noodles at a reasonable price, an udon restaurant where one can eat from the morning!

For today’s lunch I went to the udon restaurant “Sanku” in Fukushima-ku.
While I said it was lunch, it was a time that was very close to breakfast, but today I ate earlier since I did not have time to eat at noon due to work commitments.

I had “Meat Kamatama” (¥400), which was a combination of “Kamatama Udon (small)” (¥250), and “Meat” (¥150) on top. Kamatama udon is boiled noodles mixed with raw egg, and with a broth or soy sauce poured over it.

Even though I got a “small,” the portion was sufficient, and there was plenty of meat on top, so at only ¥400 it was a surprisingly good value!

After pouring some soy sauce on it, I mixed it all together so that the egg combined with the thick wheat flour noodles.

Even though the noodles were hot, since they were firm it had a chewy texture, and it was outstanding to eat!

The tender meat has been seasoned well in a sweet soup stock and was insanely delicious!
The egg and the udon were excellently well-suited!

It was amazingly well-priced to the extent that I wondered if this was really an Osaka restaurant!
Various toppings have been prepared so that customers can enjoy the combination of their choice!

Even before 8:00 a.m., customers come in one after the other without a pause, both men and women!
I think that most are probably on their way to work, and I am envious that they are able to stop by such a wonderful restaurant while heading to their jobs. (^^
When one would like to eat delicious udon at a reasonable price from the morning, I can really recommend this restaurant!
