“Hamazushi” in Shinsaibashi

Affordable and delicious! A handy dining hall for the masses!

I went to the restaurant “Hamazushi“ in Shinsaibashi for lunch today.
I arrived quite late for lunch, but this eatery offers a variety of dishes whenever you go so it’s a very convenient place!
As you enter, there’s a bunch of dishes lined on the counter, and you can choose what you want there, or order additional items separately.
“Tuna sashimi” (600 yen)
This tuna looked like the most delicious item among the dishes on the counter, and given its beautiful appearance and plentiful size, the 600 yen price is so generous!

(゚Д゚)Yummy!(゚Д゚)Yummy!

It’s delicious!!
It has just the right amount of fat, letting you enjoy both the tuna’s flavor and the sweetness from the fat, so tasty!

“Stewed tofu and fish” (200 yen)
I thought the 200 yen price was a mistake(^^

(゚Д゚)Yummy!(゚Д゚)Yummy!

It’s delicious!!
The sauce is soaked well into both the tofu and the fish, and tastes great throughout!

”Minced beef cutlet” (400 yen)
This totally looks like a hamburger steak, but this restaurant calls it a “minced beef cutlet” (^^
When it’s only 400 yen for this size, it’s sure to make you happy!

I see, its texture definitely makes me want to refer to it as “minced,” and the completely nostalgic sweet sauce is irresistible!

There’s an incredible amount of items on the menu.
Most items can be turned into a combo for +350 yen, which gives you rice, miso soup, a side dish, and pickles.
It’s right in the center of Shinsaibashi, and it’s an extremely convenient dining hall!
I look forward to returning for a leisurely visit!
