“Robata Chance Ginpei” in Shinsaibashi
I had dinner at “Robata Chance Ginpei”, an “izakaya” Japanese drinking establishment in Shinsaibashi. It is a new type of business for “Ginpei,” the well-known seafood restaurant. It is a restaurant where, in a refined and exceptionally comfortable space, you can eat the cooking of fishermen made with carefully selected ingredients.
Today I had the “¥3,500 course,” a bargain which is available for a limited time through the end of September.

Each of red sea bream, yellowtail, and hairtail have been cut into large and thick slices!
Since the freshness is good, you can enjoy the flavor, and the strong chewiness!
A draft beer.
“Roasted soybeans simmered in soy sauce”
The more you chew the good and chewy roasted soybeans, the more the aroma of soy sauce and the taste of kelp fills your mouth!
“Food steamed in a ‘seiro’ steamer” (the photograph is a serving for three).
Plenty of meat, fish, and vegetables are packed into the “seiro” steamer!
While it is being steamed, a good aroma rises with the steam!
Before you know it, the food is all steamed!
I have the meat after dipping it in “ponzu” sauce…
The meat tastes good!!

Since it has just been quickly steamed, it is good that you can fully enjoy the flavors of the various ingredients!

“Bite-sized buckwheat soba noodles and tempura”
The good and chewy buckwheat soba noodles have a really good taste!
“Spanish mackerel simmered in soy sauce”
A very thick piece of Spanish mackerel!
Sweet potato “shochu” liquor and water.

Sea bream rice that has just been cooked in an earthenware pot.
A person at the restaurant will carefully break the sea bream into smaller pieces, and will serve it in bowls.
The superb taste of the rice that has been cooked just right, fully blended with the good flavor of the sea bream, is insanely delicious!
Seasoned well with fish soup stock, it is thoroughly delicious!
“Dessert” (the photograph is a serving for three). After eating the dessert my stomach is full and I am completely satisfied!!
All this for ¥3,500 is quite a bargain!
While they offer a variety of dishes, if you come to the restaurant after 8:00 p.m., the fresh fish is half price, a special benefit that is too pleasing!
The inside of the restaurant, which was full of a high-grade sense, was roomy and really good and comfortable!
Since the ¥3,500 course that I had today is available for a limited time through the end of September, please definitely make a reservation to go and try higher-quality “robata” cuisine.
