Sasara in Kyobashi

Genuine tantanmen noodle with extraordinarily rich flavor and savory smell of the carefully selected sesame seeds!

I went to the ramen restaurant “Sasara” in Kyobashi for lunch today.
“Golden Sesame Seeds Tantanmen Noodle” (700 yen), “Lunch set meal” (additional 100 yen)
The lunch set meal, which includes tsukemono (Japanese pickled vegetables) and a large serving of rice, for an additional 100 yen is a very fair price!

You can choose how hot the noodle is, from normal (level 1) to extremely hot (level 4). I chose hotness 2 (level 2) for my order.

The bright red soup…

It’s so good!!
The flavor is so rich and strong with the splendid savory smell of the sesame seeds, it is truely a genuine taste!
It was a tolerable level of hot, but the overall balance was very good!

Medium thick straight noodle…

It’s good!!
The delicious soup gets entwined with the noodle very well!

What made me really happy was that they had powdered Japanese pepper (species of Sichuan pepper) on the tables!
By adding this Japanese pepper with rayu (chili oil), the numbing effect increases, and the flavor becomes one which I love even more!
They also have powdered sesame seeds, it further enriches the flavor of sesame, and you can enjoy it even more!

After finishing all the noodles, add the rice…

Eat it with the soup…

It is so good!!
This is out of this world~(^^

I thought it was a tantanmen noodle restaurant, but they also serve soy sauce ramen, and I was surprised to see that there were more people in the restaurant eating soy sauce ramen(^^;

If you go around 12 o’clock, there isn’t a line out the door, but customers keep coming all day, and the seats are almost always all occupied!
Located right near Kyobashi Station, with long business hours, you can’t ask for much more!
I am still wonder what the soy sauce ramen tastes like, so I would like to visit again!
