Dojima Budoshuten in Kitashinchi

The popular bistro has re-opened after refurbishment!

We had dinner at “Dojima Budoshuten”, a meat and wine restaurant in Kitashinchi. The restaurant’s concept is drinking delicious wine along with the restaurants specialty T-bone steak and the various other cuts of steak on its a la carte menu.

‘Assorted appetisers’ (Serves 4)
An assortment of jellied beef chin and tendon terrine, pork tongue with tomato stew, beef liver fondant, grilled chicken seasoned with jiuqu, and pickled bitter melon!

It was so delicious!!
We could enjoy the deliciousness of a variety of meats, and the flavor works well with wine or champagne!

‘French-style duck carpaccio’ (¥1000)

The sweetness of the meat was so refined, and the combination of the salad and fruit worked well with it!

‘Tataki beef salad’
A beef tataki with beatifully thick-cut slices of meat!

Ohhhhh, so delicious!!
Tender and juicy and oh so sweet!

Draught beer

‘Beef liver cutlets’ (¥1600)

Ohhh, so good!!
The superb combination of the umami flavour in the liver and the savory sauce makes this a taste that those who like liver will be unable to resist!

‘T-bone steak’ (At ¥2000/100g, minimum serving 300g)
This T-bone steak packs a punch at 500g!
First we tried the sirloin side…

Ohhh, delicious!!
It was delicious, wonderfully juicy and sweet!

And the tenderloin side…

Ohhhh, so delicious!!
So tender, it melts away in your mouth in just moments!

Red wine

‘Bite-sized beef sinew curry’ (¥600)

The soft sinew was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the extraordinary depth of flavour and sweetness was superb!
We were full and so, so, so satisfied!!

With so many cuts of steak and a charming and varied a la carte menu, the price was reasonable too!
This cosy restaurant had a clean and extraordinarily comfortable feel to it!
If you want to enjoy delicious meat and wine in Kitashinchi, we highly recommend this restaurant!
