Karaage Kyodai Nipponbashi Main Store

A hearty lunch from a restaurant specializing in choice Karaage!

For lunch today, I went to “Karaage Kyodai”, a restaurant in Nipponbashi that specializes in Karaage.
At “Karaage Kyodai,” you can feast on their Karaage (made using choice ingredients in a special recipe) at lunchtime with the lunch specials, and the restaurant turns into an izakaya at nighttime so that you can enjoy those same Karaage together with your favorite drink.
A variety of lunch specials are available, giving you the choice between breast meat and thigh meat, different toppings, and more.
“Thigh Meat Karaage Special (Large)” (¥900)
This hearty meal features eight chicken thigh Karaage and a heap of shredded cabbage, and it is accompanied by potato salad, broccoli boiled in bonito-flavored soy sauce, pickled vegetables, chicken soup, and as many helpings of rice as you can eat!

You can almost feel that fried crispiness just from the photo alone!

The coating is crispy as can be, and the well seasoned chicken is superbly juicy!

Lots of types of seasonings are available, offering you the fun experience of being able to experiment with different flavors!

Their lunch specials are offered at very reasonable prices.
The izakaya menu served at night is equally appealing, and features a load of dishes that are just begging to be washed down with a beer!

There are three tables inside of the restaurant made from a simple combination of wooden boards and barrels, and also a few tables right in the entrance, so even drinking outside seems appealing (^_^).
I’ll definitely come back one night so that I can try their delicious Karaage together with an ice cold beer!
