“Katsuyoshi” in Namba

Katsudon, the cheap, delicious specialty of a restaurant loved by locals with an old eatery feel!

For today’s lunch, I went to the “Katsuyoshi” eatery in Namba. Last time I went I was impressed by the delicious katsudon, and just had to eat it again, so I went back!
“Katsudon” (Pork cutlet on rice) (¥570), “Kombu udon” (¥300)
Today I ate udon with it, but even eating two dishes, ¥870 is a really fair price!

It’s exquisite how the egg clumps together just nice and soft!

The pork cutlet is cut into bitesized pieces…

Woooooow, soooo tasty!!
It’s amazingly delicious, with a perfectly soft egg and divine broth that makes you moan on top of the soft pork cutlet!

First I try the broth…

Soooo tasty!!
Just as I expected, the exquisite broth’s taste really comes through and has a very nice healing effect (^ ^

Udon and kombu (seaweed)…

Soooo tasty!!
The Osaka udon is soft and and nicely textured, and with the taste of the kombu, it is a very relaxing mix!

The place was full, with regulars coming in one after another!
I am definitely going to be coming back over and over for a long time!
