“Uchu Kazoku” at Tenjinbashisuji 1-Chome

Enjoy mapo tofu full of umami in a relaxing, cafe-like space!

For today’s lunch, I went to the Chinese restaurant “Uchu Kazoku” in Tenjinbashisuji 1-Chome.
There are only 2 choices on the lunch menu, but I had decided that I was going to have this from the start!
“Mapo tofu lunch” (¥880)
Includes mapo tofu, soup, Sichuan vegetables, and all you can eat rice.

Mapo tofu with plenty of ground beef…

Soooo tasty!!
The Chinese chili bean sauce’s sweetness and the rich, deep umami spread out through your mouth, followed by the spiciness and a little tingling!
This taste is definitely addictive, and will always have you coming back for more!

If you add the garlic chili oil and red pepper on the table, it gets a lot spicier, and even more delicious!

I put it on rice…

Soooooo tasty!
The mapo tofu’s umami is so rich, you really can’t stop eating the rice!

The soup with kelp has a very gentle taste!

The restaurant has 4 counter seats and stylish terrace and tatami room seats as well.
I definitely want to come back in the evening too!
