“Ebitori Menzo” in Hommachi

A shop that offers ultra-thick shrimp tsukemen and rich chicken flavored ramen just opened!

For today’s lunch, I went to a ramen shop called “Ebitori Menzo”, which opened in Hommachi on April 7th.

Their ramen menu consists of 3 shrimp tsukemen variations, chicken ramen, and chicken soy sauce ramen.
“Shrimp Tsukemen” (¥850), “Add All Toppings” (¥500)
The “Add All Toppings” option will give you 2 slices of chashu roast pork, bamboo shoots, and a seasoned soft-boiled egg!

First, I take a sip of the thick soup by itself…

Wooooow, deliciooouuusss!!
It’s sooo richly packed with the goodness of shrimp. This taste will make shrimp-lovers swoon!

The thick noodles…

Wooooow, deliciooouuusss!!
These thick noodles have a presence that doesn’t lose to its thick dipping soup!

Chashu roast pork…

Wooooow, deliciooouuusss!!
It’s so tender it just melts away in your mouth before you know it!

I dip their standard topping, the “shrimp bread,” into the soup…

Wooooow, deliciooouuusss!!
The thick and rich shrimp flavored dipping soup clings to the bread with its shrimp flavor aroma.

They’ll provide you with some rice once you’ve finished all your noodles!

Wooooow, deliciooouuusss!!
The taste of this shrimp risotto is addicting. (^^

“Curry Shrimp Tsukemen” (¥950)
This was ordered by a friend I met by chance there, so I only had a bite of it to taste!

Wooooow, deliciooouuusss!!
The curry’s strong spices intensified the shrimp dipping soup base even more, making for a truly electrifying flavor!

“Chicken Soy Sauce Ramen” (¥750)
This is a totally different type of ramen from their shrimp tsukemen. It seems they’re also very confident about this dish, though, so I had a taste of it too!

Wooooow, deliciooouuusss!!
This wonderful soup excellently combines the flavor of chicken blended with various seafood flavors and the deep taste of premium soy sauce!
It’s so good you’ll end up continuously sipping the soup in spite of yourself~ (^^

Thin, straight noodles…

Wooooow, deliciooouuusss!!
It thoroughly blends with the soup!

Large, meaty chashu roast pork…

Wooooow, deliciooouuusss!!
It’s melt-in-your-mouth tender and sweet and just delicious!

They have a simple menu lineup, but I would like to try all of these items. (^^
I’d definitely love to pay this place another leisurely visit!
