“Diamond Curry” at Osaka Ekimae 3rd Building

The traditional Osaka underground shopping center curry has evolved and a new Osaka specialty curry has been born!

For today’s lunch, I went to a curry and spaghetti shop at the Osaka Ekimae 3rd Building called “Diamond Curry”.

“Fluffy and Creamy Omelette Curry Rice” (¥760)
This is a plate of curry rice topped with a creamy half-cooked omelette!

Taking a bite with some egg…

Woooow, delicioooouuusss!!
I could taste a faint sourness and fruity sweetness amidst the spiciness of the curry. This is the perfect example of an excellently made orthodox European curry!
I really love this taste!
It’s been a while since I’ve come across a curry that really hits the spot for me, so I felt a little touched. (^^
The creamy egg had a really mild taste to it, so this would probably be just right for people who can’t eat spicy curry!

They have some “Special Spice” available on their tables. You can use this to up the spiciness level for people who love more spicy curry. (^^

“Juicy Cutlet Curry” (¥780)
This is the dish my friend ordered. It seems this is the most popular item on this shop’s menu!

I had a taste of it. (^^

Woooow, delicioooouuusss!!
The taste of this curry roux can go well with different toppings and its combination with the crispy fried pork cutlet was just perfect!

They have a wide selection of toppings to choose from. I’d love to try each and every one of them. (^^

This shop is located on the first basement floor of the [[[Osaka Ekimae 3rd Building]]]. They don’t have a regular day off which makes it a really convenient place to drop by!
I’m very happy about the birth of this new Osaka specialty curry and I have a feeling I’ll be visiting this place a lot in the future. (^^
