Beef bowl specialty shop “Fujiaki Bettei” in Nipponbashi

Mega size rare harami steak bowl!

Today’s lunch was at the beef bowl restaurant “Fujiaki Bettei” in Nipponbashi.
This restaurant has a beef bowl that I absolutely wanted to try, and today turned out to be quite a meal!
Mega size rare harami* steak bowl (1800 Yen)
* cow diaphragm
I was overwhelmed at the impressive sight of this meal (^^
It was packed tight at the bottom with a layer of meat, with a large, looming mountain of it on top!

First, I tried some of the harami mountain…
This meat had been well soaked in sauce and cooked over a charcoal fire.

Soooooo tasty!!
The more I chewed on this substantial piece of meat, the more the flavor of the harami, the well-absorbed sauce, and the charcoal spread throughout my mouth!

The layer at the bottom had an even bigger helping of sauce!

Soooooo tasty!!

I broke the egg yolk at the top and mixed it in with the meat…

Soooooo tasty!!
The egg yolk’s smooth flavor went perfectly with the meat.

The meal included soup and kimchi, for total satisfaction!

An irresistible lineup for any meat lover!

This store is very popular, always with a few people lined up outside.
I hope that you too will go and try out their hearty beef bowls (^^
