“Grill Ijinkan” at Osaka Ekimae 3rd Building

A mellow roast beef bowl at a Western-style restaurant!

For today’s lunch, I dropped by the Western-style restaurant “Grill Ijinkan” on the B1F level of the Osaka Ekimae 3rd Building.
At lunchtime, the restaurant offers a roast beef bowl, a beef cutlet meal, and a beefsteak meal; at night, the restaurant becomes a bar.
The roast beef bowl comes in three sizes: medium (880 yen), large (980 yen), and extra-large (1280 yen). Of course, I went for the extra-large!
I was also able to ask for an extra-large serving of rice for free, but I went with a normal portion.
You get a huge heap of slice after slice of thin-sliced roast beef—with a egg yolk right on top!

First, I try the meat…

(゚Д゚)Yummy!(゚Д゚)Yummy!

WHOOOAAA, it’s GOOOOOD!!
It’s really soft and tender, and it comes in plenty of this addicting soy-based tare sauce that really brings out the sweetness and umami flavor of the meat!

I mix in the egg yolk…

(゚Д゚)Yummy!(゚Д゚)Yummy!

WHOOOAAA, it’s GOOOOOD!!
It makes the meat more mellow, and it’s definitely terrific! (^^

The bowl also comes with extra tare sauce, so you can add as much as you like!

I ate just the meat for a good, long while, then I finally tried the rice!

(゚Д゚)Yummy!(゚Д゚)Yummy!

WHOOOAAA, it’s GOOOOOD!!
It goes without saying, but the meat goes just terrific with the rice, and I just couldn’t stop eating!

I’m also curious about their other lunch items! (^^

This shop just opened, but it has a pretty retro feel to it.
The staff is very cheerful, and they don’t hold their smiles back—they really make you feel at home!
I’ve gotta drop by again one night!
