Menya Norio in Minamisemba

Maze soba (mixed ramen noodles) that you can enjoy in three different ways in one sitting!

Today, I went to a ramen restaurant called “Menya Norio” at Minamisemba.
I really wanted to try their abura soba (oiled ramen noodles).

“Abura soba (maze soba) with soup” (680 yen)
There are so many toppings you almost can’t see the noodles below them!

The sauce is at the bottom of the bowl so make sure to mix the noodles properly.

Mix the flavorful, slightly sweet, soy sauce-based sauce into the chewy noodles. It’s SO GOOD!

This Abura soba also comes with a bowl of soup.
The flavor of the chicken broth is just perfect. It’s SO GOOD!

I can drink it as it is…

I leave just a bit of noodles at the end, and enjoy it with the soup…
The taste of the soy sauce becomes slightly milder. It’s SO GOOD!

And…
At this shop, you can order white rice for free free until 3pm!

So, I put some rice into the leftover soup and tried it. It’s SO SO GOOD!

With this quantity, this abura soba that you can enjoy in three different ways in one sitting is only 680 yen. What a bargain!

Order is done through a ticket-machine at this restaurant. Other than abura soba, you can also order ramen, tsukemen, various toppings, and rice.

There was a constant flow of customers at this shop. Only counter seats available.
I’m glad it’s open until late at night. I think I will come back here again soon. :)
