“Angel” in Temmabashi

Famous omelette with rice from a historic café founded in 1970!

For today’s lunch I went to “Angel” located on floor B2 of the OMM Building in Temmabashi.
I went to eat in this café founded 46 years ago to eat its famous “omurice” (omelette with rice)!
There are 5 different types of omurice with different sauces and toppings.
“Demi-glace Sauce Temmabashi Omurice” (800 Yen) / “Lunchtime Special A Set” (200 Yen)
Salad and fried appetizers come with this omurice, topped with plenty of demi-glace sauce!

Cutting the omelet with a spoon shows the eggs are lightly cooked to be fluffy and a little runny!

The eggs are soft and runny, perfect with the mildly sour flavor of the demi-glace!

The “Lunchtime Special A Set” (200 Yen) includes a drink. The drinks are self-service and all you can drink, which is really refreshing!

This café is located on floor B2 of the OMM building and could possibly be the oldest restaurant there.
The good-old café has a retro atmosphere and I hope it continues to serve its classic omurice for many years to come!
