“Leone” in Kitashinchi

A Groundbreaking New Type of Dish: The Exquisite Hot and Sour Mapo Keema!

For today’s lunch I went to “Leone” in Kitashinchi, which serves a wide range of delicious dishes with a focus on Italian cuisine.

An astonishing number of different curries appear on the menu and change on a weekly basis, including the incredible spicy keema curry.
I had to go back to have the legendary sweet sour mapo keema (¥1,000) again, which left a lasting impression on me the last time I had it.
The saffron turmeric rice, topped with minced meat keema curry, is doused in a clear broth and garnished with hot sesame oil and green onions.
The look of the dish stirs the imagination as to what it may taste like.

Take a spoon full of of the saffron turmeric rice, keema and the broth and…

(゚Д゚)Yummy!(゚Д゚)Yummy!(゚Д゚)Yummy!/h5>

Whoa, so good!!
The incredible depth and spiciness makes you wonder: Has there ever been a dish like this?
It’s difficult to describe this new type of cuisine, which seems to defy categorization, but it is simply amazing.

This restaurant, hidden on the third floor of a building in Kitashinchi, is so popular that there is a line out the door depending on when you go.
They are only open for lunch during weekdays. But when you get a chance, be sure to go try this new type of dish: The hot and sour mapo keema!
