“Udonbo Osaka Store” at Osaka Ekimae 3rd Building

The udon, soup, and donburi all taste good! The daily special udon set meal is fantastic value for money!

For today’s lunch, I went to the udon restaurant, “Udonbo Osaka Store”, which is located on Basement 2 of Osaka Ekimae 3rd Building.
I love this authentic, popular restaurant where you can taste the real Sanuki udon!

“Daily special udon set meal” (¥900)
Today’s set meal is kitsune udon and oyako-don!

It’s got large and thick kitsune (deep-fried bean curd) on top!

First, I’m going to taste the soup

Ohhhhhh, it tastes gooooood!!
The flavors of bonito and kelp are brought out well. As I expected, the soup is so impressive!

The udon is slightly thin

It’s gooood!!
The chewiness and texture which are just right makes you feel like home, and it is something indescribable!

The kitsune

Oohhh, it tastes goood!!
It has absorbed the slightly sweet soup well and it tastes goooodd!

As for the oyako-don, it’s served in a large bowl as if it were a single portion. It’s huge!

It tastes goood!!
The flavor and sweetness of the stock are also absorbed well by the egg and chicken, and it tastes really very good!

A single serving of udon is affordably priced and there is also a variety of set meals that are value for money!

It’s always crowded whenever I come here and this shop is very prominent in the building of the station!
Besides, it’s amazing that it has been operating for 10 years at this place〜!
I hope to come here even more often in the future!
