“Kashiya” in Nishinari Ward

So impressed by the perfect, exquisite seafood tonkotsu!

For today’s lunch, I went to “Kashiya”, a ramen restaurant in the Nishinari Ward.
I love this restaurant, as all their ramen dishes are perfection!
Today, I went to try their only dish I’d not yet had, the Japanese Tonkotsu (‎¥750)!

I tucked in to the bubbling, thick soup…

(゚Д゚)Yummy!(゚Д゚)Yummy!

Woah, it was so good!
It had a creamy texture, like a cream soup, and the rich tonkotsu umami flavor combined perfectly with the deep richness of the seafood. It was ridiculously good!
It was completely different to the seafood tonkotsu I had recently, the Mata Oma Kei, but had the amazing taste of this restaurant !

Thick curly noodles

(゚Д゚)Yummy!(゚Д゚)Yummy!

So good!
The noodles were wonderful and springy, and they soaked up the exquisite soup! Delicious!

A huge piece of carefully prepared char siu

(゚Д゚)Yummy!(゚Д゚)Yummy!

So good!
The sweetness of the fat, and the umami of the lean meat went perfectly with the umami of the soup, and the taste was so impressive!

The soup was so delicious that I’d finished it off before I knew it (^^

This is the Fish Dashi Soba (¥700) my friend who came with me ate.

All of their ramen are delicious, including their tsukemen only available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays!
On weekdays, they have a great value lunch set too!

We had good timing, as we got in straight away, but there was a queue immediately afterwards!
If I want to eat delicious ramen, I’ll be coming here again!
