“Chinese Kitchen Suiren” in Nakazakicho

My local popular Chinese restaurant has re-opened after a renovation!

Today, I went to a Chinese restaurant in Nakazakicho called “Chinese Kitchen Suiren”. I couldn’t stop myself from going after I heard that the restaurant had undergone renovation and had recently reopened for business. The menu has also changed significantly, with some new set meals and some new items on the a la carte menu. I decided to order the ‘Sichuan-style Mabo Tofu Set Meal’.

I tried the dish using the Chinese spoon.

(゚Д゚)Yummy!(゚Д゚)Yummy!

It has a classic and truly Sichuan taste. The rich flavors are delicious!

I tried some with rice.

(゚Д゚)Yummy!(゚Д゚)Yummy!

The Mabo Tofu goes so well with rice I just couldn’t stop eating!

This restaurants ‘Sichuan-style Mabo Tofu Set Meal’ (which I have to mention is 100% truly Sichuan), comes with rice, soup and pickles. At only 800 yen it’s a bargain!

The set meal menu and the a la carte menu is packed full of tasty items.

Both the interior and exterior of the restaurant is decorated simply with a black theme. I’m sure I will come again (and again) to this restaurant!
