“Chinese Cuisine Zuicho” in Dojima Hotel

Authentic mapo tofu served in a relaxing and highly-luxurious setting!

For lunch today, we went to “Chinese Cuisine Zuicho”, located in the first floor basement of the Dojima Hotel.
The mapo tofu from this restaurant has a great reputation, so I went there as I was desperate to try it out!
Special earthenware mapo tofu (¥1,300), super spicy (+¥150)
Served bubbling inside a huge earthenware pot!

Wow, deeeeeelicious!
There are so many depths of flavors concentrated on this dish, and the balance between the spiciness of the chili and the tingling sensation of the sansho pepper is absolutely superb!
If you want it super spicy, you only need to pay an extra ¥150. The additional charge is small, but the extra spiciness must not be underestimated. Even for me, it was the limit of spiciness that I could take! But even then, I was really impressed that I could go beyond all this spiciness and still enjoy the strong flavors of this wonderful mapo tofu!

At lunch time, the dish comes with soup, rice, and zha cai.

The soup has really deep, high-quality flavors. It is amazing!
Feel free to have unlimited refills of the deliciously soft and piping hot rice!

Of course, you can have mapo tofu on top of the rice.

Wow, deeeelicious!!
I really cannot resist eating the rice, as it goes so well with the strong flavors of the mapo tofu!

Annin tofu for dessert

This is also another luxuriously tasting dish, cooling down my mouth which had been burning with lots of spiciness before ^^

The restaurant is located inside a hotel, featuring a gorgeous, high-class interior. I was able to spend a really relaxed lunch time here!
If you want to eat a slightly rich Chinese lunch, I really recommend visiting this restaurant!
