Hamburg Steak at a French Restaurant

Today I went to the French restaurant Kitchen Coto Coto, located in Nishi-Temma, for lunch. The daily special was hamburg steak, so of course I ordered it.

“cotocoto Special Hamburg Steak with Mushroom Tomato Sauce” (¥1000)
The steak is placed on large chunks of potato and topped with a tomato sauce.

The hamburg steak has a slightly firm texture and is so meaty, you’d think it doesn’t contain any binding agents. The meat has a sweet flavor; it is delicious! The steak itself is not too large, but the potatoes give the dish a lot of volume.

The cold potato soup is also delicious!
Guests can choose a side of bread or rice, so I chose bread.
Guests can also get bread refills.

Such a meal at this price makes me a happy person.
Next time I think I’ll try the curry.

Even though I entered the restaurant at around 2:30 p.m., there were a lot of guests; even more guests arrived after me as well.
The popularity surrounding this restaurant despite its inconvenient location speaks volumes about it’s good value!
I think it’s a perfect example of the fact that a worthwhile restaurant with good food will prosper, regardless of its location.
