“Jin” in Kitashinchi

This teppanyaki izakaya in Kitashinchi offers a satisfying, great value lunch.

Today’s lunch was at “Jin”, a teppanyaki izakaya in Kitashinchi.
From a steak special to meat and western-style lunch sets, there was such variety I had trouble choosing.

Umadare menchi-katsu bowl lunch (¥850)
The staff’s pick. The lunch set included a menchi-katsu rice bowl, a salad, cold tofu, miso soup, pickled vegetables, and even a glass of coffee after the meal, all of that for ¥850. The portions were also generous, making it an incredibly good value choice.

If you take a bite with some rice…

As one would expect from a quality teppanyaki place, the menchi-katsu’s meat was absolutely mouthwatering: it had a rich flavor with a side of sweetness.
The demi-glace was also splendid, and the rice was so delectable I couldn’t stop eating.
To top it off, the set even included a glass of coffee. It was a truly satisfying meal!

By chance, all lunch sets had a ¥50 discount today, so I got to enjoy all that for a measly ¥800.
I felt like I got an amazing deal!

This establishment, decorated in Japanese style, offers counter seating and private rooms with tables, and a very relaxing atmosphere.

The izakaya menu is also plentiful, so I would definitely like to come back at night.
