La Barcaccia

Authentic pizza baked in a firewood oven that you can have for lunch at a reasonable price!

For today’s lunch I went to the pizzeria and trattoria “La Barcaccia” in Toyosaki, Kita-ku.
The green firewood oven that you can see from the front of the restaurant is very beautiful, and it was the first time that I went to this restaurant that I had long been interested in.
While the “pizza lunch” at lunchtime is a pizza and appetizer set, among the three kinds of pizza that you can choose from there is “Gorgonzola!”
I am really grateful that on the lunch menu there is a cheese only pizza that you can eat!
However, despite being a lunch pizza, it is a large pizza of over 30cm in diameter that is the same size as in the evening!

It is very sumptuous with a blend of three kinds of cheeses – Gorgonzola, Mozzarella, and cream cheese!

The delicious taste of the cheeses and the salty and chewy crust are an excellent match!
Since it is a really large pizza, your stomach becomes full when you eat it on your own. (^^

The assortment of appetizers is also splendid!

I unconsciously ended up wanting to drink some wine. (^^

One pizza, that would probably cost around ¥2,000 in the evening, is ¥1,280 at lunch, which is wonderful value for money with a splendid appetizer set!

The green firewood oven that you can see from outside of the restaurant is very beautiful!
I now want to go in the evening to eat some delicious pizza or seafood with wine. (^^
