Mannen Shinsaibashi Store
Today, I took a trip to “Mannen Shinsaibashi Store” after it piqued my interest following coverage in magazines and on television♪
The main store in Shinsaibashi has a counter on the first floor, and an Italian bar on the second which is at once modern and laid back.
Notable for its logo featuring a cute little piggy, the store offers much more than just ramen and discount beer during happy hour.
An extensive alcohol menu is available, as well as a range of options for both Japanese hot pot and classic Japanese bar food.
I decided to go for the “Extra-Special Ramen”, which came with the staff’s personal seal of approval.
The thick soup had an extra dose of umami flavor from the addition of bonito sauce.
The straight noodles went down easy, and tasted just as I like them. (*^^)v
It hit the spot in the same way as ramen eaten in the middle of the night does. (*^ｍ^)o==3
The dumplings were a little small, but came with a generous amount of bean paste.
They looked as if they had been fried to perfection, and the skins were crispy!
The vegetables had a good crunch to them!
