Dojima Hotel’s mango shaved ice “soft ice”

I was excited by this encounter with this shaved ice with an extremely fluffy texture!

If you want to try melt-in-the-mouth, cotton candy-like shaved ice, I recommend Dojima Hotel’s soft ice!

When I was wandering the vicinity of Umeda, wondering whether they didn’t have any yummy shaved ice anywhere, I found the “soft ice” billboard in front of Dojima Hotel.

Dojima Hotel is a hotel known for being opened by Patisserie Moncher, well-known for the Dojima Roll .

At the sweets shop on the first floor, they also sell a “Dojima Hotel roll cake”, made with the same recipe as the Dojima roll.

The fluffy shaved ice with a new kind of texture, “Snow Ice”, is sold at this sweets shop for a limited time only (600 yen).

They had mango flavor and tiramisu flavor, but to compare it with MisterDonut’s Cotton Snow Candy from before, I chose mango.

Frozen mango was hidden on the bottom, it was served with milky shaved ice, and in the center was mango pudding. On top of that was a coating of milky shaved ice, and it was covered generously in frozen mango and mango syrup.

First I tried the frozen mango.

When you roll the frozen mango jelly around in your mouth, the mango that slowly melts in the mouth is rich in sweetness.

More than the freshness of the mango, the sweetness of the mango is concentrated and the tropical suggestiveness lingers for a long time.

Even with just mango, it was very delicious, but the milky taste of the shaved ice was even greater.

When you put it in your mouth, the faint, fleeting, flitting, melt-in-the-mouth feeling, is like snowflakes.

It resembles MisterDonut’s Cotton Snow Candy, and its magical melt-in-the-mouth sensation was simply impressive.

I was satisfied with just this, but as I continued eating the mango pudding appeared!

To the mango pudding-loving Chihiro, I was impressed by the overly surprising factor.

Because the taste, too, wasn’t too sweet and smooth, it’s a taste that is best matched eaten together with mango or shaved ice.

Lastly, a fresh conclusion with the frozen mango hidden at the bottom.

It was delicious shaved ice much to Chihiro’s liking, with a fluffy, melt-in-the-mouth sensation, a fresh flavor, and the surprise factor of the mango pudding.

It’s really too amazing that such quality can be enjoyed for 600 yen in Osaka’s Umeda!
