Chef Horikawa opens his own restaurant after perfecting his skills at a well established traditional Japanese restaurant in Osaka!

“Oryori Horikawa” and its new style of cooking are located on the opposite side of Takigawa Park near Osaka Tenmangu Station.
The restaurant’s interior features a smart and stylish counter made of one unfinished board of wood and a private room that can accommodate 8 guests.
Guests can enjoy the interior with stylish elements wherever they look as they try exciting and delicious dishes.

Plump white fish slowly falls apart as you pick it up and has a delicate, light taste.


Simply fresh tuna, spiny lobster, and filefish! Try the filefish with the liver soy sauce for even more amazing flavor!



This luxurious chawanmushi (savory egg custard) uses soft roe from puffer fish. The delicious taste of creamy egg and melt-in-you-mouth fluffy roe, with a distinct taste of dashi, is one you will not soon to forget.

Rare kelp bass and tilefish are cooked at just the right temperature to maintain their moisture and go great with Japanese sake!
